A friend asked if I could compile the recipes I’ve made for our toddler playdates – yes, on a really good day, I’m that mum – into a little book.
We’d been dreaming up ideas for Zno board books; everything from baby photos to modern fairytales.
The concept of selecting recipes stresses me out though because it’s so final – how to choose which 24 make the cut?! Then I remembered I had this old blog, and its infinite updating capabilities. Phew.
So this one’s for you, friend (and for me, on forgetful days.)
Weetbix slice (switch out the honey and probably chocolate for the under one crowd)
Hefezopf (schnell und fluffig) – aka German braided bread. As per a friend’s amendments, add raisins and, you know, one teaspoon of the sugar vs one pound (thanks, Google Translate!).
